Perseus by Parfums de Marly Fragrance Notes

Top notes are Grapefruit, Bergamot and Black Currant. Middle notes are Green Mandarin, Vetiver and Geranium. Base notes are Dry Wood, Cashmere Wood and Ambergris.

Opens with a nice grapefruit drys down very smooth. My favorite of the brand so far

Thank you to fragrancesline for making the purchase of Perseus possible. I really enjoyed wearing Perseus especially now in the summer!
It’s a really nice citrus scent I’ve come across in this journey of learning of Niche Parfum and brands.
My thoughts on Perseus are that it’s very Grapefruit forward, I enjoyed the scent, but that’s the only scent I can pick up on throughout the entire day. Yes it was long lasting, a bit tame not a beast. 4-6 hours. Would I recommend it? Yes I would, try it out like I did with a sample! Once I wore Perseus for several days at different times of the day. I decided that this fragrance is Beautiful, fun, light, fresh, and non offensive, it can be worn daily at the office or casually any time of the day or evening. Would Perseus be my first go to from PDM? No.
There are several perfumes from PDM I would buy before Perseus, Percival, Layton, Seedley to name a few for summer time fresh scents. I love to wear different fragrance to work, casually, dinner etc. although I enjoyed wearing Perseus with a few compliments the fragrance didn’t have that “WOW! This is amazing reaction!” Instead it was more like “oh grapefruit, this is fresh, light and nice to wear”. I give this fragrance a 3.5 star rating but here it’s only 3 or 4 available.
