Sixth generation master perfumer Olivier Creed, along with his son Erwin, present Love In Black, a fragrance that blooms with wildflowers at dusk. Creed Love In Black evokes the enigmatic beauty of America's most intriguing First Lady of the 20th century: her dark, mysterious eyes behind black sunglasses, her wavelets of brunette hair, her trim shape in a black sheath. To create Love In Black, Mr. Creed blended ingredients from places loved by this well-traveled woman. Even the bottle is made with black sand like that in the Greek isles where she wed a legendary shipping tycoon. Love In Black is released on the 40th anniversary of that wedding.
The royal American flair of an unforgettable First Lady is found in this blend that includes Virginia cedar from the countryside where she enjoyed the chic equestrian life. Further, she often was seen donning a black velvet riding cap, which inspired the design.

Please Note: Unlike our 2ml, 5ml, 8ml and 10ml bottles, our 1ml samples do not come with a spray. Instead, they are equipped with a small dabber wand for a more delicate application to the skin.
