Black No.1 Notes

Top notes are northwest conifers, puget sound seaweed, white sage. Middle notes are oud, cannabis, amber. Base notes are black leather, ambergris, hyraceum.

Interestingly complex masculine scent.

I bought this on a lark (mostly because of the Type O Negative song with the same name) while selecting several different scents to try out. This one was immediately intriguing due to its complex scent. It starts off somewhat sharp and clean, and later settles into a warm sandalwood/leather scent with a touch of sweetness (there are other notes too, but my nose is not refined enough to give them a name). Definitely going to become a part of my collection. Probably best for Fall/Winter, but there's a case to be made for spring as well.

Very good scent

A very good scent that sits close to the skin for a long time. Unfortunately, the price is too high. But I am satisfied. Definitely worth a try!
