Creed Aventus Cologne Notes

Top notes are pineapple, green apple, mint, ginger, mandarin orange, and pink pepper; middle notes are patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver; base notes are musk, styrax, birch, and tonka bean.

Refined and distinct

I had tried aventus, and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I saw aventus cologne, I wondered how could they improve on their classic aroma. When I read through the note line I could see a few changes. So decided to give it a try.
Now anyone who has tried aventus will know it starts out with a strong pineapple. Then smooths out. The cologne version is in my opinion completely different. It is more refined and smooth. No over bearing aroma. The citrus and pineapple come through evenly. The mint and ginger keep everything thing in check. All while the Tonka bean just stays there to give a warm balance that lasts.
I can see this as a true step up. It is clear they weren't trying to kill off, tame or reformulate a great aroma.
Hard to choose just one, so might have to keep a little stock of both.

The customer service and quality of purchase has been unmatched. Speedy and beautiful packaging. They want to make sure your decanter arrives unscathed from the mail system. Without a doubt recommending them to people I know.
