Tacit Truths by Aesop is a Woody Smoky Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Tacit Truths was launched in 2026.
A fragrant fable of luminous fresh, citrus, green notes that come together in hushed conversation to evoke the radiant refrain of dawn.
Tacit Truths is an intimation of morning’s first light, conjured by Yuzu, Vetiver and Fennel. A fable about trust told through scent, its bright citrus notes are tempered by the calming character of Basil, lending a sense of quiet intimacy.
All of this is contained in a newly redesigned bottle with an embossed Aesop insignia, and a pleasingly textured cap inspired by basalt—a rock on which our hometown of Melbourne was quite literally built.

Important info: Here, we sell decants only. Aesop Tacit Truths eau de parfum fragrance sample is a hand-decanted perfume sample. The original bottle in the main picture is not for sale, it just shows the original bottle from where the perfume will be decanted into small samples. Therefore, the customer will receive the authentic scent poured from the original bottle into a new sterile vial.

To help you explore our collection, we offer sample sizes of 1ml, 2ml, 5ml, 8ml and 10ml. The appearance of the bottles pictured above may vary slightly from the ones we are currently using for decanting; however, we guarantee that the volumes will always be as stated.
Please Note: Unlike our 2ml, 5ml, 8ml and 10ml bottles, our 1ml samples do not come with a spray. Instead, they are equipped with a small dabber wand for a more delicate application to the skin.
