Evoking Eidesis by Aesop is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Evoking Eidesis was launched in 2026.
A fragrant fable of woody, spicy, ambery notes evoking a timber- framed mirror, readied for self-reflection.
Evoking Eidesis invites us to question what lies beyond surface reflections. A fable about authenticity told through scent, it creates an impression of iridescence with brilliant notes of Neroli, Petitgrain and Black Pepper, grounded by earthy Sandalwood.
All of this is contained in a newly redesigned bottle with an embossed Aesop insignia, and a pleasingly textured cap inspired by basalt—a rock on which our hometown of Melbourne was quite literally built.

Base notes are Sandalwood, Cedar, Vetiver
Important info: Here, we sell decants only. Aesop Evoking Eidesis eau de parfum fragrance sample is a hand-decanted perfume sample. The original bottle in the main picture is not for sale, it just shows the original bottle from where the perfume will be decanted into small samples. Therefore, the customer will receive the authentic scent poured from the original bottle into a new sterile vial.

To help you explore our collection, we offer sample sizes of 1ml, 2ml, 5ml, 8ml and 10ml. The appearance of the bottles pictured above may vary slightly from the ones we are currently using for decanting; however, we guarantee that the volumes will always be as stated.
Please Note: Unlike our 2ml, 5ml, 8ml and 10ml bottles, our 1ml samples do not come with a spray. Instead, they are equipped with a small dabber wand for a more delicate application to the skin.
