La Myrrhe by Serge Lutens is an Oriental Spicy fragrance for women and men. La Myrrhe was launched in 1995. The nose behind this fragrance is Christopher Sheldrake.
Transformed into a myrrh tree by Aphrodite, Princess Myrrha is the inspiration behind one of the most beautiful Arabian fragrances. It is said to be her tears which flow from cuts in the tree. The fact that this resin with its soft, fresh nightly scent comes from one of the driest and hottest lands on the planet, defies the laws of nature.
"Forgive this fragrance, because it knows not what it does! You know about myrrh and the Three Kings. What you don't know is that, here, myrrh takes on the fragrance of the night. I make it sparkle and fizz like champagne, sustained by a base note of mandarin orange."

The original bottle on the main picture is not for sale, it just shows the original bottle from where perfume will be decanted. Therefore, the customer will receive the authentic scent poured from the original bottle into a new sterile vial.
