Heord is the seventh perfume from the house Parfums de Marly. It is classified as a woody - spicy composition. One of the most accomplished racehorses (and prolific studs) of 18th century Europe, Herod was a horse of uncommon achievement descended from a famous line of Turkish warhorses. To honor him, Parfums de Marly has created a truly spectacular fragrance, one that combines robustly masculine tobacco, wood, and patchouli notes with an alluring spice blend and sumptuous vanilla.  

Parfums de Marly Herod Eau de Parfum Notes

Top notes are cinnamon, pepperwood. Middle notes are osmanthus, tobacco leaves, frankincense, ciste. Base notes are vanilla pods, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, cypriol musk.

I don't know much about top notes, middle notes or base notes but I know what I like and when all those notes come together, they invoke an image of very masculine, very sexy and very successful! Great customer service! Great company! Thanks a lot, guys!

Just got 6ml sample vial of this, and I was pretty impressed. Beautiful tobacco orientated scent, with some well blended supporting notes of cinnamon, woods, and spices. I personally reserve this fragrance for special occasions and dates. I think it's perfect for making a strong impression on a woman you're seeing. It's a sweet, warm, and inviting smell that begs to be smelled more. I love Herod. Thanks Parfums de Marly for this fragrance and thanks to fragrancesline for the great service and great quality!
