Guidance by Amouage is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Guidance was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Quentin Bisch.

Amouage Guidance Fragrance Notes

Top notes are Pear, Olibanum, and Hazelnut. Middle notes are Osmanthus, Saffron, Rose, and Jasmine Sambac. Base notes are Sandalwood, Vanilla, Akigalawood, Ambergris, and Labdanum.

Unforgettable

I know Guidance is quite a polarizing scent, but to me it is magic. It is a warm and slightly sweet woody floral. It’s truly distinct and for me, unforgettable. I understand that some find it has too many elements or slightly pungent elements, but for me it absolutely works. Some florals can be too sharp or too fresh. I was seeking a floral perfume that was neither too indolic, nor too fresh. I also wanted a slightly sweet and creamy and rounded element, which is also has. It also is grounded in lovely wood notes. I find the some total delightful and addictive. I do smell pencil shavings in the open, which may not sound appealing to some, but it is so interesting. Then there are florals and vanilla.
It is one that must be tested first, but this could will be a special signature for me.
